For my final post, I was able to use the assets I created to build a comic book style live-action scene, featuring the Dark Knight.
This is the video that inspired this project.
Putting together this Video segment was a bit of a nightmare. These are not even all of the assets I used.
These are the assets that used to aid in delivering the comic book “feel.”
And…here is the version that I was able to create thus far
To be honest, when looking just purely at the volume of work that I’ve done so far, both quizzes and posts, it paints a picture of neglect.
- Quizes 6 + 3 = 9
- Posts 5 + 3 = 8 *2 = 16
- Post w/Ref = 10
- Comments 5 = 5
- Attendance 5
Total = 45
My idea for a final project is to re-create a comic book style fight scene using motion graphics tools that I have been learning so far. The closest thing I can liken it to is a fight scene from the classic “Batman” series from the 60’s, starring Adam West…
Essentially, What I would like to do is take the 60’s cliché, of adding text to accompany sound effects and apply that to something more recent. And the most iconic thing that came to mind is a fight scene from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
This was a quick test where I combined text animation with motion tracking.
